Inec Reschedules 2019 General Elections
The independent National electoral commision had a meeting on Friday 15th of February and reviewed it's preparations for the Election which had already been scheduled for Saturday 16th of February. The postponed Presidential and Governorship Election came as a joke and a surprise to so many Nigerians as most people had traveled across the country making sure their votes can be casted.
The reason Inec reschedule the Election was as a result of Careful review of the implementation of its logistics and operational plan and the determination to conduct free and fair Election. Consequently, the board has decided to reschedule the presidential and National Assembly Elections to 23rd of February 2019. Further more, the Governorship, State house of Assembly and Federal Capital Territory Elections is rescheduled to Saturday 9th March 2019.
