Japanese Emperor Akihito Abdicate throne

Emperor Akihito is the first Emeperor to abdicate the throne in two Centuries.  The Emeperor ruled for more than 30 years and steps dow.n During his final Speach the Emperor Akihito talked about ushering in a New Era for the people of Japan.

Emperor Akihito is married to Empress michiko and they've been married for 60 years.  They have two Sons and one daughter. Akihito became an Emeperor on January 7,1989.

Akihito is Abdicating the throne in favor of his eldest son Naruhito on April 30,2019 for health reasons
